Data Engineering is like Plumbing.

OK, what do I mean by this?

For the past five winters your family of five has struggled with a failing boiler.
The house is freezing, and hot water is unreliable—some nights, that much-needed hot bath just isn’t an option.
Each time, you call an emergency plumber who fixes the issue, but at a steep cost. And more often than not, you’ll need to call him again before the season is over.
Every year, the plumber advises you to replace the boiler and reroute some pipes, assuring you it’s the long-term solution.
He can do the work if you schedule it. But each time, you put it off—the quote seems too expensive, and after all, the boiler is still running. Plus, now that it’s late spring, the urgency fades.

Madness.

Now, think about your data problems 😉 Surely you would prefer your data team to work on insight and innovation rather than firefighting old issues cause by poor leadership and strategy? What do you want your data to do for you? How will your business grow?

Sort your ‘plumbing out’. Save money, reduce seasonal pressure, stress and risk.
